My client, a leading Irish law firm, is seeking an Associate to join their Public, Regulatory & Investigations team. The team advises on complex regulatory, administrative, and investigatory matters for clients across sectors such as energy, healthcare, financial services, technology, and the public sector.

The Role:
You will work on a wide range of matters, including:

  • Advising on administrative and public law, statutory interpretation, and information law (FOI, environmental access, and data privacy)

  • Supporting administrative law litigation, including judicial review and statutory appeal proceedings

  • Assisting with regulatory investigations, inquiries, and statutory compliance

  • Drafting legal opinions, court documents, correspondence, consultation papers, and public body policies or guidance

  • Collaborating with internal cross-sectoral teams, including privacy and charities specialists

  • Supporting senior lawyers in managing complex client matters

The Person:

  • 1–5 years PQE, with experience in litigation, regulatory law, or related practice areas

  • Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills

  • Client-focused with the ability to manage multiple matters effectively under pressure

  • Experience with regulatory or public bodies is advantageous

  • Collaborative, proactive, and keen to develop specialist expertise in public and regulatory law
