Department: Financial Regulation

My client is looking for an ambitious and qualified Solicitor with at least one year of post-qualification experience (PQE) to join their Financial Regulation team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in financial regulation, technology, and digital assets and will be eager to build a strong career foundation in a partner led environment.

Responsibilities:

• The solicitor will advise domestic and international clients, including investment firms, payments firms, crypto asset service providers, fund service providers, media and technology companies, and others.
• The solicitor will deal with a broad range of data privacy, cyber security, and related matters.
• The solicitor will work closely with the Financial Regulation team as well as the Corporate, Litigation, Banking, and Property teams.
• The solicitor will lead and grow my client's data privacy practice.

Requirements:

• The solicitor must have a minimum of 1 year PQE in a law firm or other relevant organization.
• The solicitor must have strong communication and presentation skills.
• The solicitor must have excellent judgment and the tenacity to pursue the best interests of clients.
• The solicitor must have exceptional organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage a busy workload and meet deadlines consistently.
• The solicitor must have a high level of motivation and the ability to work independently.
• The solicitor must be able to work effectively as part of a team.
• The solicitor must have a strong interest in maintaining, developing, and sharing relevant legal knowledge.
• The solicitor must be committed to contributing to the continued development of the practice.
