Your Role
- Preparation and review of the monthly management accounts including commentary for management and owners
- Management of all aspects of the finance and accounting function of the business
- Monitoring and reporting on agreed KPI's
- Preparation of weekly and monthly reports
- Preparation of budget and forecast
- Presentation of budget to the owners
- Participation in weekly and monthly management meetings
- Preparation, monitoring and management of cash flow
- Liaising with external parties – banks, auditors, insurers, advisors, IT consultants
- Payroll for permanent and part time employees
- Developing and implementing standard operating procedures and internal controls within all departments
- Various Revenue and CSO returns
Your Profile?
- Qualified accountant (if you are part-qualified you may be considered if you possess suitable prior experience)
- A number of years of solid experience within finance
- This is a role that involves overseeing a more junior person in finance (accounts assistant). If you have experience of managing persons that would be great, albeit such may not be a dealbreaker if you do not
