We are currently hiring for a leading accountancy firm in Kildare. They offer various financial services such as accounts, payroll management, audits and business advisory so if you are an accountant eager for diversity and multiplicity this is the role for you.

Our client is one of the largest and most successful accountancy and business advisory practices in County Kildare. With a professional team of over 30 people, they offer the specialized expertise usually reserved for “Big 4” firms but with the personal, relationship-driven culture of a local practice. Due to continued growth in their client base, they are seeking a Qualified Senior Accountant to join their team.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Preparation of statutory financial statements for a diverse portfolio of SMEs in accordance with FRS 102/105.

  • Advisory Services: Act as a proactive business partner, providing strategic advice on cash flow, growth, and business planning.

  • Taxation: Preparation and filing of Corporation Tax, Income Tax, and VAT returns.

  • Team Leadership: Reviewing the work of junior staff and trainees, providing mentorship to help them progress.

  • Client Management: Managing day-to-day client relationships and ensuring all deadlines are met with high-quality output.

  • Audit & Assurance: Planned and executed statutory audits for portfolio clients, performing risk assessments, internal control testing, and detailed substantive procedures in compliance with auditing standards. 

 

Requirements:

  • Qualification: Fully Qualified (ACA / ACCA / CPA).

  • Experience: 2–3 years of experience within an Irish accountancy practice is desirable.

  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Irish GAAP and tax compliance. Experience with cloud software (Xero, Sage, or CCH) is an advantage.
