An exciting opportunity to join the Global Funds team of a leading international law firm in London. Working closely with a senior partner in the Asset Management and Investment Funds team — whose client base spans the mid-market private equity space — you will work directly with clients to design structures, set fund terms and negotiate with investors. There is also exposure to venture capital, credit and real estate, including secondaries transactions.

You will have the following skills and experience:
– A minimum of 4 years PE funds experience at a top City firm or the London office of a top US firm
– Excellent drafting and legal research skills
– Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including strong presentation skills
– An excellent academic record
– An ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues and support staff
– A team player who is organised, responsible and able to work effectively under pressure
