This is a Director-level opportunity at a top-tier Dublin firm — a role for someone who has built genuine depth in R&D tax and is ready to lead, not just deliver.
You will be the primary strategic advisor for a portfolio of multinational and high-growth indigenous clients, operating in one of the most technically demanding areas of Irish tax practice. The 35% R&D tax credit regime is high-stakes, heavily scrutinised, and increasingly complex — and the clients who benefit most are those with an advisor who genuinely understands both the science and the Revenue landscape.
This practice is established, well-regarded and growing. The Director coming in will have the platform, the team and the firm-level backing to take it further.
What the role involves
- Leading the firm's R&D incentives practice and driving its commercial growth
- Acting as primary strategic advisor to C-suite stakeholders — CTOs, CFOs and innovation leads — at major domestic and international clients
- Leading complex Revenue audits and enquiries from preparation through to resolution
- Bridging the gap between client technical teams and the firm's tax advisory function
- Mentoring and developing Senior Managers and junior consultants
- Contributing to firm-wide BD and thought leadership in the R&D tax space
What you need
- 10+ years' experience in R&D tax or innovation incentives
- A demonstrable track record managing large-scale, technically complex R&D claims
- Proven leadership and team development ability
- Comfortable engaging directly with C-suite client contacts
- CTA and/or ACA qualified (or equivalent)
The reward
A direct path to Partnership and an executive-level package commensurate with a market-leading leadership role.
