My Client are a well-established Retail Organisation who operate within the home improvement solutions space and due to continued growth , are now looking for a IT Support Analyst to join the Team. My Client has been in operation for over 30 years ; have over 100 employees and has an established name within the Trade- both here and in the UK. Their offices are based in North Dublin close to the Airport and this is an on site role- you will be expected to be on site for 5 days a week ( their offices are a 10 minute walk from Howth Junction DART Station and there is free on site car parking)

- Salary for this role is from 35,000- 50,000 – a wide range and comes with a pension scheme and as mentioned above, room for career progression .
Role Overview This role combines reliable day to day IT support with active involvement in systems improvement and ERP migration activities. You will act as a key point of contact and be on site- supporting users with operational technology issues while also contributing to data readiness, system documentation, testing and implementation for the organisation’s ERP system.
Key Responsibilities
• Act as a primary on site point of contact for IT support requests
• Provide first line support for hardware, software, access and application issues
• Support Windows based devices, printers, mobile devices and peripherals
• Support users with Microsoft 365 applications, accounts and permissions
• Log, manage and resolve tickets using Freshdesk IT service desk system and escalate any issues appropriately while maintaining ownership and communication
• Device, Asset and Environment Management whilst maintaining the IT asset register, including devices, licences and warranties
• Support device setup, deployment, replacement and assist with IT equipment procurement and stock control
• Support general IT housekeeping and stability of the onsite environment
• ERP Migration and Systems Support and Support preparation for migration to a new ERP system
• Assist with data clean up, validation and structuring ahead of migration
• Work with business users to identify data quality issues and gaps
• Support data mapping, reconciliation and migration testing activities and Assist with preparation, go live support and early post go live issue resolution.
Key Requirements
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in an IT support, systems or applications role
- Experience using ticketing or service desk systems- ( experience of working on a helpdesk and experience of an asset register is a distinct advantage)
- Proactive approach and willing to take ownership of tasks and issues and be able to engage effectively with both technical and business stakeholders
- Strong communication skills and a customer focused approach and be comfortable working on site and supporting non-technical users.
- Experience / exposure to Power BI and SQL would be desirable.
