What the role involves

• Merger control filings and phase investigations before the CCPC and European Commission
• Regulatory investigations, dawn raids and competition compliance advisory
• State aid, sector regulation and market inquiry work
• Advising across technology, pharma, financial services and retail sectors

What you need

• 1–4 years’ PQE (competition experience preferred — exceptional candidates from other backgrounds considered)
• Strong academics — this practice rewards analytical sharpness
• Genuine intellectual curiosity and interest in regulatory and market dynamics
• Ability to write clearly and argue precisely under pressure
