Tax Accountant – Leading International PLC

Our client, a prominent and rapidly expanding international group, is seeking a Tax Accountant to join their finance team. This is a high-impact role reporting directly to the Group Tax Manager during a period of significant ambitious growth.

This position offers a dynamic mix of tax advisory and compliance, providing a clear pathway for professional development within a listed corporate environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • International Tax Management: Lead local tax planning and compliance across Ireland and a number of European jurisdictions
  • Strategic Planning: Support internal reorganizations and monitor international tax developments to assess business impact.
  • Group Reporting: Collaborate with the Finance team on statutory and group accounts, including Pillar II forecasting and analysis.
  • Indirect Tax: Oversee Group VAT compliance and provide operational support.
  • Audit & Compliance: Manage Revenue audits, queries, and transfer pricing documentation.
  • Legal Review: Review M&A documentation, financing agreements, and committee minutes.

 

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualifications: Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) or equivalent. A Chartered Accountancy (ACA/ACCA) qualification is a distinct advantage.
  • Experience: 3+ years in a dedicated tax role, preferably with exposure to listed entities or large-scale corporates.
  • Technical Skills: Comfortable with complex legal documentation and international tax frameworks.
  • Soft Skills: A collaborative team player with the interpersonal skills to thrive in a high-growth, positive corporate culture.
