My Client is an established leading Drinks/ FMCG  Organisation wh and due to continued growth, are now looking for a Brand Manager to join the Business.

In this role, you will report into the Commercial Director,  ( who knows the business inside out)  and you will partner closely with the sales reps – and be an enabler to the sales reps/ team.

This is a hybrid working role-  there will be more time spent in the office at the beginning- to get to know ways of working/ and stakeholders and the role comes with a 10%  bonus and pension – strong overall package.

(For this role, you must be based in Ireland and have 3- 5 years FMCG Brand management experience ; ( drinks/ alcohol exposure would be advantageous but is not a pre- requisite) please do not apply if you do not live here and have FMCG brand management experience- thank you)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for growth of this specific Drinks category in line with company expectations.
  • Manage the relationships with our Suppliers and implement regular reviews and consistent contact throughout the year.
  • Accountable for the negotiation of A&P budgets with suppliers with the objective to increase this budget annually.
  • Aim to achieve an increase in A&P available from all suppliers that will enable more effective activations across brands and have a positive impact on the company margin.
  • Communicate back to CD, MD and FD quarterly on the performance of the A&P budget.
  • Have regular and flowing communication with the Management Team on a weekly basis on all matters that could have a positive or negative impact on the company.
  • Spend a minimum of 2 days per month in trade with the Team.
  • Attend a reasonable share of industry events, such as Bloom, Whiskey Live, VFI, IHF, RAI and other industry events that may arise.
  • As a manager of the business, you should bring a positive and motivated contribution to the office and team environment at all times.

Key Requirements
· Retail/FMCG industry knowledge is a must – particularly of the Irish trade ( min of 3-6 years).
· Strong Commercial acumen and interpersonal and influencing skills.
· Understand the roles & differing objectives of brand principals and distributors
· Ability to plan and prioritize is key and to work/ think at pace.
