My Client are renowned for being market leaders – and have some amazing brands!  several of which are Number 1 in their own sector!   (not just in Ireland but in the global market) Due to a recent move; they are now looking for a personable Field Sales Rep – who will fit in with the team and culture and work closely with their Customers- ( major Retailers like Tesco; Musgraves)

The Role

This role will be based in North Dublin – and you will be expected to make up to 20 calls a week- The purpose of the role is to make sure Customers are happy and to grow Business. The KPI’s are definitely attainable and a key for the role is being able to handle autonomy; take ownership and be resilient. ** A lot of the National Account Managers stated off in this role and the Manager who you will report too also stated off as a Rep and has been with the Business for 9 years and is now Field Sales Manager. **

 

Key  Responsibilities

  • To generate orders in al lCustomer Stores Branches
  • Maximise sales in all other outlets (Tesco, SuperValu, Pharmacy, Proximity Channel)
  • Ensure all planograms are reflective of space required to increase sales
  • Ensure all products which are ranged on plan are in store
  • Increase product distribution where possible (
  • Ensure all new products are presented professionally in all outlets
  • Maximise all promotional activity ensuring correct mechanic is in place with relevant POS
  • Awareness of competitor activity and feeding back intelligence from stores
  • New store opening support
  • Participate in and drive test market launches & promotions
  • Develop Field Market Intelligence in regard to competitors and multiple retail strategies
  • Complete all reports accurately and on time
  • Participate in sales and marketing promotions as assigned by the Company
  • Ensure that you are fully prepared at all times with relevant information – promotions, plans
  • A strategic approach with strong negotiation skills for upselling to customers and managing returns

 

Experience Required:

  • Third level qualification in Business, Marketing or Sales is essential as a minimum
  • Full clean Driving Licence is essential
  • Fluent written and spoken English
