A Top 10 accountancy firm, based in Dublin, has an excellent opportunity for a practice trained accountant to join the firm as an audit senior. The role has been created due to continued growth within the firm and will involve providing audit and accounts services across a varied client base. This position may suit somebody from a small firm looking to develop their audit exposure or somebody from a large firm who seeks greater variety across their client portfolio.
The Role:
Assist with the planning of audits and accounting assignments
Prepare draft financial statements and audit reports for review by Manager
Lead various assignments currently and ensure the most efficient use of time and resources
Develop effective relationships with other units within the firm (e.g. tax, company secretarial etc).
Train and mentor junior staff
The Person:
Qualified Accountant (ACA | ACCA) or other recognised qualification
Practice trained
Good technical audit skills
First rate communication skills
