It is the company! as simple as that really! the brands; their success within the market and their success- quite simply; it is unrivalled and due to their continued success, they are looking to recruit a Trade Marketing Executive for some of their leading Alcohol Drinks brands. ( these brands are FANTASTIC – on- trend and exceeding expectations- one in particular is doing extremely well , whilst the other is loved by Bartenders ! !)

This role will be a challenge !- you will be expected to be strong on planning; be assertive- partner and push back on the sales teams ! you will work closely with the agencies and handle all aspects of event management. In turn you will gain invaluable exposure to the Business and will work on some of the BEST Brands in the alcohol sector !- Easy to say but it’s the truth !

( both know the drinks trade inside out and the Marketing Director will give you the autonomy to succeed but is there for support and to advise you.) Key Deliverables:

  • Planning, coordination & evaluation of all promotional and visibility activity at outlet level, in line with brand plans.
  • Develop & brief in quarterly objectives to trade teams to ensure delivery of brand KPIs. Track and monitor KPIs and create assets to assist with KPI execution.
  • Creation & Management of all POS, visibility tools, trade listings and consumer activations in the on & off trade.
  • Compile insightful monthly & quarterly sales & trade marketing reports, outlining progress Vs brand KPIs and Rate of Sale.
  • Successful management of trade and consumer led events in the on & off trade, overseeing agency management.
  • Co-ordinate training of trade teams in display, tastings and product information for the portfolio.
  • Coordination of any distillery visits for all brands.
  • Managing the rollout, training, development and people management of the brand ambassador programme.

In addition:

  • Experience in driving successful trade partner marketing programs
  • Strong consumer knowledge, coupled with clear commercial acumen
  • Excellent communicator and team player who sets clear goals, leads by example and adopts a collaborative approach
  • Ability to interact convincingly with internal and external stakeholders and decision makers
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, develop and build a team to strive for excellence

Experience required

  • At least 2 years’ experience within licensed trade and/or marketing role within the drinks industry.
  • A proven team player with an excellent customer service approach.
  • Ability to work on own initiative, with strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to sell, influence and build strong working relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong IT and numerical skills.

Full and clean driving licence.
