Tax Trainee

Job Description

Our client is a boutique tax specialist firm which is continuing to experience significant growth. Due to this continued success they seek to recruit a tax trainee to join their tax team in September 2017. This is a terrific opportunity for an ambitious graduate to join a market leading firm where you will be given excellent training and a variety of exposure to different tax heads.

The Role:

• Income tax compliance to include CGT and CAT for a wide ranging private client portfolio.
• Corporation tax compliance.
• Researching Tax Technical issues.
• Liaising with Revenue Commissioners on clients’ behalf.
• Liaising with various departments within the firm regarding tax assignments.

The Person:

• Honours degree in accounting/business/law or related subject. (2:1 or better)
• 450+ points in leaving certificate including a B or better in honours maths.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
