Job Description

Our client is a financial services firm which is growing its European base in Dublin. Due to this growth an exciting position for a tax specialist has arisen. The purpose of this role will be to provide guidance on tax matters related to trading activities.

The Role:

  • Review documentation relating to tax arising from the firm’s trading business
  • Assist with International markets developments as they impact the firm
  • Design and implement new operational tax processes
  • Identify and assist with the development of tax related solutions
  • Work on new projects to provide insights from a taxation perspective
  • Frequent interaction with business teams including responses to ad hoc queries to support trades

The Person:

  • Qualified or part qualified accountant or tax professional (e.g. ACA | ACCA | AITI | CTA)
  • Financial Services tax experience gained either in practice or industry
  • Familiarity with cross border tax considerations advantageous
  • Experience in corporation and withholding taxes, stamp duty & VAT
  • Ability to research, learn, and obtain additional knowledge in relevant areas before communicating this effectively
  • Excellent organizational/administrative skills
