My Client has the some of the most iconic brands in the marketplace – across beer; soft drinks and they have a huge wine portfolio and due to a recent re-structure; are looking for a Sales Representative to join the Business. This position will focus on the On-Trade and although this area has been hit hard; they are looking to plan and be in the best position when Restrictions are lifted. This has been exemplified by some recent hires- a new CEO has joined the Business in the last 6 months; they have hired 2 really strong Managers- one of whom the successful candidate will report too- for the Midlands region.

Objective of the role

The key objective within this role are to ensure the effective implementation of both long- and short-term sales drivers across the full brand portfolio for the On- Trade Business. The focus is very much on getting distribution right.

The Manager for the West/Midlands – who is a gem of a boss- with a wealth of knowledge and experience in the Drinks Business- said ” I am looking for someone Denis who is commercially smart; can build up the relationships with our On- Trade Customers; can weigh up volume and Distribution and is polished in approach ; has the right attitude and drive to make it work.. Also importantly I am looking for someone who is not just a yes man ! and will be prepared for some tough conversations and can build on or in some cases develop the relationships within the On- Trade- and make the role their own ! I will be there to support this person but I would like him/her to create the role themselves and put their own stamp on it.”

Duties Include:

  • Completion of pre-determined account visits as per the daily Journey Plan.
  • Build strong trading relationships within all Accounts.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of your territory.
  • Distribution of Company’s Brands within all Accounts.
  • The number one sales priority will be to ensure that you have the right range at the right price for our key brands across your region.
  • Manage, expand and develop the customer call file across the region.
  • Introducing New Products not already listed within all accounts.

Experience:

  • An excellent track record within the Off-Trade category backed with exceptional selling, negotiation, persuasiveness and commercial skills is essential.
  • You should have a strong customer focus and be able to maintain a high level of productivity in all aspects of the role.
  • Candidates must be eligible to drive in the island of Ireland and have a full clean drivers licence.

Salary: Excellent remuneration package
