Part Qualified Accountant

Job Description

A small accountancy firm has an opportunity for a part qualified accountant with between 1-2 years’ practice experience to join the firm. This role will provide the successful candidate experience to a mix of audit, accounts prep and tax work which is an ideal training ground for a career as an accountant. This role may be of interest to somebody in a pure audit role seeking to gain a greater variety of experience or a candidate from a small firm which has limited audit exposure.

Main Duties:

• Assist seniors and managers with the audit process
• Preparation of year end & management accounts
• Preparation of Corporation and Income Tax returns
• Other ad-hoc duties as required (e.g payroll/company formations etc)

Your Background:

• Part qualified accountant (ACCA | ACA | CPA)
• 1-2 years’ recent experience in practice
