Job Description

Amicus Recruitment has a fantastic opportunity for a National Accounts Controller to join a Business that is in strong growth and in a great place. This is a super opportunity for a number of reasons

1. The team and people- There is a really strong National Accounts team in place; personable; positive ; genuine people and they all help each other out and are very supportive of one another and will be an excellent team to lead and manage- as they are engaged and driven. 2. The Brands and Growth- my client has a number of iconic brands and with regards to business performance- they have experienced double digit growth whilst some of their competitors are in decline and 3. The Country Manager- passionate; thorough and positive and if successful there is an opportunity to move in to his position in the future !!

It all sounds too good to be true ! but this is one of the best Senior roles I have worked on in the last 12 months. The Country Managers said the following when we discussed the opportunity:

“Denis I want this person to manage the team who are performing well but to drive even better results. The successful candidate must have both a category and customer focus; be strong on planning and execution of JBP’s; excellent attention to detail with a real focus on strategic revenue management and forecasting and to have the gravitas to work with leading Retailers.. Accountability and Trust is really important to me and I want someone with that drive and passion so that down the line; they are looking to move in to my role! Critical Thinking; to be able to deliver on the numbers is also key to success and I want someone who challenge me and the Business in the right manner”

There is a tight knit team in place and a lot of flexibility in terms of working hours. There are some challenges with relation to supply chain and Distribution ; but if you are a proven Senior National Account Manager with a minimum of 6- 8 years experience and have ideally have managed a team; this opportunity is a must for consideration !!
