Amicus Recruitment has a fantastic opportunity for a National Accounts Controller to join a Business that is in strong growth and in a great place. This is a super opportunity for a number of reasons

It all sounds too good to be true ! but this is one of the best Senior roles I have worked on in the last 12 months. The Country Managers said the following when we discussed the opportunity:

There is a tight knit team in place and a lot of flexibility in terms of working hours. There are some challenges with relation to supply chain and Distribution ; but if you are a proven Senior National Account Manager with a minimum of 6- 8 years experience and have ideally have managed a team; this opportunity is a must for consideration !!

** To be considered for this role you must be a proven NAM with a FMCG background and has managed one of the Multiples- this is a key requirement- **

The Nature of the Role

In this role; you will be responsible for Full trading responsibility for all customers & distributors , This includes P&L responsibility for entire customer & distributor portfolio, key measures Turnover Sales & Net Margin and Stakeholder management (UK business management teams , Finance , Strategic revenue management, Category and Marketing) You will travel to the UK office once a month/every 6 weeks.

Business planning and Review

Develop & execute annual winning plans by customer in line with overall business commercial strategy to deliver turnover & net margin objectives

Negotiate agreement of a Joint Business Plan with customers that delivers internal & external objectives.

Negotiate agreement of customer terms to deliver positive return on investment

Quarterly review of customer budgets in line with internal budget review process

Biannual review , proposal & sign off of rolling 6 month category innovation plans by customer

Monthly review & adaptation of customer winning plans to ensure excellent execution & delivery of internal objectives

Customer financial performance & innovation pricing plan approval with Country Manager to ensure delivery of annual customer financial objectives & efficient customer ledger management

Monthly demand planning meeting to drive accuracy of monthly sales forecasts with NAMs & UK demand planning

Monthly field sales meetings to approve 90:60:30 day plan

Customer Relationship management

Biannual Customer Director review meetings with Country Manager to share agreed business plans & review of same

Quarterly senior buyer review meetings to ensure joint business plans are on track to deliver objectives

Quarterly customer supply chain meetings with UK supply chain team to ensure collaborative plans in place to deliver customer service levels

Biannual innovation plans meeting with customer commercial , category & marketing teams to present category driving innovation plans

Monthly buyer meetings with Nam to ensure plans in place to deliver rolling quarterly plan

Pricing

Ensure that all pricing principles & structures are implemented & maintained

Planning and implementation of price increases

Relevant Experience:

6-8+ year FMCG experience as a National/Senior national account Manager

Used to working in a dynamic and complex business environment

Strong Negotiation and leadership skills and to have a collaborative approach

Excellent planning and Organisational skills and to demonstrate Critical Thinking.
