Amicus have been engaged by a leading FMCG company who seek to recruit an Onsite Support Analyst. The main function of the position will be to play a key role in the IT support organization by being a technical resource onsite. You will also manage local projects and when required manage suppliers and vendors relating to the site.

The Role:

  • Provide IT support across Dublin site
  • Resolving change requests and incidents
  • Manager and coordinate non-standard and complicated support issues
  • Responsible for hardware provisioning and deployment
  • Responsible for maintaining accuracy of Configuration Management Database
  • Act as the technical lead on IT change initiatives and projects locally
  • Managing the local comms rooms from a hardware and support perspective
  • Provide internal customers with operations and technical support
  • Serve as technical expert and participate in or oversee a variety of analytical and technical tasks

The Person:

  • Likely to have 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Excellent customer services skills a must
  • Project management experience
  • Ability to prioritise workload
  • Experience of the following;
  • Windows 7/10, Lotus Notes, SAP, MS Outlook, VPN, SEP and others
  • VoIP – Configuring & Supporting
  • Servers – Deployment, Implementations
  • LAN/WAN
  • Networking: Firewalls, routing, switching and security
