My Client are renowned for being market leaders – and have some amazing brands! several of which are Number 1 in their own sector! (not just in Ireland but in the global market) Due to a recent re-structure; they are now looking for a personable Inventory Controller who will fit in with the team and culture.

** Salary for this role is from €35,000- 40,000 and it is an initial 3 mont contract with a view to it being extended. **

The Head of Supply Chain has been with the company for over 15 years; the Demand Planning Manager – for over 10 years. This role will be based in South Dublin- they have lovely modern offices with approx. 80- 90 employees on site. There is a lot of car parking available and they have a subsided canteen. Quite Simply; this a fantastic opportunity for a Demand Planning/ Supply Chain Graduate or for someone with 1-2 years’ experience in the area.

Purpose of the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for the stock accuracy and integrity of the inventory balance. You will be expected to drive continuous improvement to minimize stock losses due to financial loss or service failures. You will be accountable to ensure accuracy of the stock quality status, through building & maintaining Quarantine management process & systems.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management

Ø Manage daily stock reconciliation between SAP & 3PL system, clearing idoc failures and investigating as appropriate, identifying and implementing change where needed to optimize process.

Ø Management and control of quality status of Goods Inwards and Warehouse Stock.

Ø Manage Month End Inventory process.

Ø Accountable for compliance on inventory control.

Ø Develop relationships with 3PL and Supply Planning to drive on-going efficiencies in Inventory Process.

Ø Liaise with 3PL to monitor stock quality and delivery issues, working with 3PL, Supply points and hauliers to improve performance.

Administration

Ø Management of Goods Inwards Schedule, including documentation and resolution of any GI Issues.

Ø Responsible for Inventory Administration (e.g. PO creation, Credit Requests, Returns, Reverse PO/STOs).

Ø Monitoring & reporting of KPIs as defined

SAP/Guardian Key User

Ø Maintain skills to adequate level and ensuring procedures updated as necessary.

Ø Support system testing & development and Build Strong Relationship with Regional Centre of Excellence to support local Quality initiatives

Experience Required:

  • 3 years relevant Supply Chain experience required, preferably in a Pharma or FMCG environment.
  • Strong ERP system knowledge, preferably SAP.
  • Strong IT Skills, including Excel.
  • Logical problem-solving mindset.
  • Influencing skills to drive process change across various stakeholders.
