International Tax Manager or Assistant Manager

Job Description

An excellent opportunity has arisen, with a top 20 firm that has been experiencing strong growth over the past number of years, for a corporate tax manager or assistant manager. The position will report directly into a Tax Partner and affords plenty of career promotion prospects as the team grows.

The role will focus mainly on International tax (both inbound and outbound) across clients in a variety of sectors. May suit an individual who currently feels pigeonholed and would like to gain exposure to a number of different industry areas.

The Position:

• Assisting the tax partner with tax planning/advisory projects including but not limited to;
• Clients setting up operations abroad
• Succession planning and group restructurings
• Foreign entities either locating in Ireland or expanding an existing presence here
• Managing a portfolio of corporate tax clients
• Dealing with ad-hoc queries

Likely Background:

• Qualified tax professional and/or accountant
• 2 + years’ pqe
• Comfortable managing a client portfolio
• Demonstrable tax advisory experience
