Job Description

Amicus have been engaged by a leading FMCG company who seek to recruit into their Internal Control Function. You will work within the internal function to assist in the management of fundamental business processes, from ensuring that controls have the requisite ownership, testing to ensure compliance and working on action plans to reduce overall risk.

The Role:

  • Execute timely and quality testing required by the Head of Internal Controls, in accordance with testing timetable
  • When risks are identified, contribute to identify recommendations. Deploy action plans, and work on them to ensure removal and rectification of risk
  • Follow-up on recommendations of Audits & Action plans on deficiencies
  • Promote adherence to processes, rules and policies
  • Lead and generate projects linked to the internal controls framework to drive compliance or process improvements

The Person:

  • Basic accounting understanding in desirable (accounting and internal/external audit background preferred)
  • Demonstrable experience in process mapping and walkthroughs with a view to continuous improvement
  • Knowledge and experience in systems (SAP desirable)
