In a nutshell; this is a varied and diverse role. You will be required to be comfortable with data; insights; commercial ; work collaboratively with stakeholders and partner with Retailers. The Hiring Manager/ Director said the following ” Denis; I really want to find someone who is a logical thinker; can take ownership- there is flexibility in hours and I really want someone who can work well with other teams and be able to prioritise.”

In terms of KPI’s they will be based on 1. Brand Target – which incorporates internal sales and external share and 2. Landing Activations. – The KPI’s are fair; attainable and related to the Bonus.

Role Overview

The Activation and Data Team are tasked with developing and deploying best in class local marketing plans grounded in consumer, shopper & customer insight to build sustainable growth and profit.

In conjunction with the regional brand team, the Manager is responsible for the management of the mass brand portfolio at a local level. This involves the localisation and optimisation of regional Integrated Marketing Campaigns for best in class execution in market across key brands.

Local Brand Activation

  • Lead the local business planning process for the leading brands within the Portfolio with a focus on data and insights. Provide upfront input on local requirements and assess relevancy of regional initiatives for Irish market.
  • Be proactive around the identification of local market and brand requirements across the mass portfolio via the use and collation of internal and external data.
  • Set appropriate metrics & objectives and ensure that all activities meet revenue, profit and share expectations.
  • Ensure successful NPI launches and commercial strategy initiatives
  • Develop channel specific strategies (mass, pharmacy, discounter, e-commerce)
  • & secure optimized shopper marketing plans incorporating a master plan (display, distribution, promotion, price)
  • Develop, adapt and implement key monitoring and evaluation targets
  • Oversee local market share tracking and own proactive strategy adaptation
  • Provide input on primary research
  • Manage, challenge and reconcile local budgets.

· Establish and implement new ways of working to best deliver on brand growth and profit

  • Be agile in approach and Manage marketing communication process with provider

Key Requirements

  • Degree level educated or equivalent qualification
  • 4-6 years in either a Cateogry or Sales ( KAM/ NAM) position within the FMCG Sector but must be comfortable with data
  • Must have experience of working with Retailers.
  • Highly proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint,-
