Head of Legal | Managing Director Dublin | Structured Finance / Financial Services

A leading international brand is seeking to appoint a head of legal to oversee it’s Irish legal, accounting and regulatory functions in a new role covering EMEA.

You will manage the day to day operations of this organisations Dublin office with an emphasis on legal and finance but have operational oversight outside of these two functions.

Key Tasks:

• Management of the Dublin office on day to day operational issues
• Involved in forging strategic partnerships and product development and identifying new opportunities
• Local and international marketing and business development, with relationship management & third party opportunistic business to generate revenue and work towards the growth of European business
• Communication with local authorities, banks and other company offices on mutual projects and networking and expanding business

The successful candidate will be essentially managing an independent business with reporting to Divisional Management via the Management of the Structured Finance Line of Business. To fulfil the requirements you will have an entrepreneurial attitude and a proven track record of managing teams.

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor or Barrister is preferable
• Strong Structured finance knowledge
• Business Development Skills
• Ability to drive performance and work autonomously
• Previous in-house experience strongly desirable
