My Client is one of the leading Managed Services provider in the Irish Market and are accustomed to finding innovative solutions for their client base and due to continued success are looking to hire a Head of Sector Business Development with a strong enterprise level network in the Irish market

In this role, you will be identifying, developing and closing opportunities and contributing to the overall market strategy for the region, as well as managing and growing revenue from key accounts. The role involves identifying client needs, getting support for the sector opportunities, creating a team to prepare proposals for the customer, closing and winning these opportunities. Every client is different, and the role involves adapting our offering to suit the client needs. You should have expertise / experience in the financial services, healthcare, retail, transport and bring that expertise to the position.

This role reports to the Sales and Marketing Director who in turn reports to the CEO of the Group for the Irish market. You will work collaboratively with the Finance Business Partner, Delivery Executive and Presales Teams to deliver solutions to customers (both new and existing)

** An attractive Renumeration package is on offer for the successful candidate – OTE 140,000 -160,000 **

Role Accountabilities:

  • Driving new revenue from the Irish sector via opportunity pursuit and closure, winning new business.
  • Definition and execution of hunting strategy into Ireland with full responsibility for a multi-million target
  • Defining your own go to market and win strategies, taking input from business development managers and business leaders
  • Position the Group as a thought leader within the region creating services sales opportunities for execution by you
  • Understanding of the competition in the marketplace and new technologies that create market opportunities
  • Work closely with the category management team to determine how to position the products and solutions to maximize market share and revenue potential.

For this position you must have at least 8-10 years Business Development experience; coming from the managed services provider sector.
