On target earning €35,000 – €55,000 +

About the opportunity

Amicus is a professional recruitment firm servicing the law, accounting, sales, marketing, compliance, risk and tax markets.

Amicus is not a traditional sales or recruitment environment. We are a professional, mature and process driven organisation committed to providing ‘best in practice’ advice to both our clients and to job seekers.

We are seeking someone with a degree from a leading college or university of 2:2 or higher, with a preference for someone coming from a law background.

We would also be interested in hearing from newly or recently qualified Solicitors considering a move out of law but seeking to retain and utilise their legal training in a role with a greater interpersonal focus.

What does an ordinary day in Amicus look like?

  • Meet with job seekers, discuss their motivations, expectations, frustrations and career hopes.
  • Provide 1 to 1 tailored advice to job seekers based around their goals and intentions
  • Build relationships with clients, gain an understanding of their culture and standards and provide a level of service that sets you apart from your competitors
  • Utilise social media, data analytics and other sources of information to identify and engage with talent within your market
  • Build expertise within your market and over time come to be identified as a market leader
  • Produce high quality advertising content
  • Produce market and recruitment related content for various blogs and publications
  • Attend industry events and sponsor functions to build market profile
  • Directly approach / headhunt market talent and build a network of contacts
  • Build market intelligence and analyse recruitment and salary trends
  • Most importantly – have a sense of humour
