This firm is located centrally in Dublin and is accessible via a number of public transport options.

Technical Requirements

The ideal applicant will have the capacity to work with autonomy and can provide guidance and support to others whilst adding to the firm’s advisory remit by bringing expertise in data privacy and specifically the upcoming general data protection regulation.

The initial remit of this role will focus on advisory issues arising from the GDPR with the medium to long term scope of responsibilities branching into related areas of contract law, corporate law and Information technology law, all of which are housed within the same department.

Key responsibilities:

  • Preparing briefings for clients relating to data compliance and building a profile as a market leader and subject matter expert.
  • Advising generally on corporate or commercial law transactions with further scope to advise on technology agreements, IP licensing, E-Commerce, Fintech and all related regulations.

Personal Requirements

This role will ideally suit an ambitious Solicitor with at least 3 years’ experience primarily within data protection law and ideally with some exposure to the broader advisory areas identified.

Due to new clients and new work streams this department is at the beginning of a growth period and it is an ideal time to join if career progression is a priority for you. You will gain immediate exposure to high quality work in a collegiate and friendly work atmosphere.
