AMICUS Recruitment has an excellent opportunity for a Digital Sales Manager to join a Business that is the Number 1 in their own field ! If you are commercial; sales driven; interested in advertising; PR; anything digital and want to work for an organisation that have offices worldwide- well then read on !

The role will report in to a personable and inspiring Managing Director- ( very personable; down to earth chap with a wealth of experience in in the digital and media area) He was headhunted by Senior Management 6 months ago to lead the sales function and he is really enjoying it – in his words “been a breathe of Fresh air; the scope and client base; we have is second to none- top companies across all sectors ! “

At the moment; they have a small sales function and with a re-structure in the Irish Business this a great opportunity for someone to come in ; take ownership and make strong commission. The Business focuses on 4 key sectors and Mark really wants someone who in his words- mature in approach who can take ownership; come up with ideas; ideally come from a digital/ PR background and wants to work as part of a growing company “

For this role; you must have excellent communication skills but also strong written skills- as you will be involved in tenders- There will be an excellent induction programme in London where you will receive intensive training – Apart from taking ownership; there is great scope to make strong commission and work across all sectors- from Government; Financial; FMCG to Automotive.

** Base salary will be from €40,000- 50,000 but OTE will be around the € 70,000- 85,000 mark **

The Role will involve the following:

Generating leads: Identifying and generating high-quality client leads through scalable demand generation strategies and processes, across marketing, digital advertising, PR and market development.

Converting leads: Engaging with and qualifying potential clients by understanding their needs and challenges and identifying and communicating the value that it can deliver for the business.

Operations and analysis: Overseeing aspects of our sales development processes, analysing data on our performance, and suggesting and implementing improvements. This includes data and other analysis, and use of communication digital marketing, as well as sales tracking platforms and tools.

I asked Mark what the challenge of the role was and he said ” being able to prioritise is key; and also growing existing accounts and having strong written skills as well as you will be involved in writing Tenders” so you must be commercial; demonstrate initiative; be strategic and be able to handle autonomy- this is important- He will give you support but he is not a micro- manager and will expect you to treat the role like it’s your own Business.

Indeed, he did mention that they have a 3-year strategy and will be obviously more than happy to go through this with the successful candidate so they are clear on expectations- this will involve the successful candidate’s input. (

Quite simply – this is a great role for someone with 2-3 years’ experience- can build relationships and wants to succeed – you will also gain exposure to the wider group and will have a sales support and Client Services to support you!
