The Role

This is a diverse and challenging role requiring resilience; persistence and patience but at the same time you will gain invaluable exposure to the Business. In this role; you will be involved in liaising with Global HQ; Brand strategy. ATL activation; presenting and getting buy in from stakeholders especially the sales teams. You will be given a sizable budget but at the same time expected to be commercial ; justify spend and see a return on investment. However that is the fantastic element to the company culture !- got an idea; go for it ! and there are no layers; red tape so you will be given the autonomy to succeed.” An entrepreneurial spirit and being able to work collaboratively is key to success.”

** For this role, you must have 3-4 years’ experience in the FMCG sector; be commercial; be ambitious; be extremely flexible; take stress and pressure in your stride and run with it!!!

Key Responsbilities

  • Ensure that the overall country business plan addresses the challenges to win new consumers and retain existing ones.
  • Prepare the annual business plan and financial budgets in co-operation with the marketing and sales team.
  • Turn data into compelling insights, which are actionable and relevant, and ensure these insights are addressed through cross functional plans.
  • Manage and maintain the agreed Brand & Culture budget.
  • Lead the key Culture marketing projects & events including, music festival activations
  • Lead the annual media planning & ongoing event branding.
  • Ensure the brand integrity while working cross functionally with colleagues in the on/off premise and trade marketing.
  • Act as the brand guardian; always have the “consumer” and “brand” eye in every single project and ensure the brand look & feel and tone of voice is consistent.
  • Create branding and through the line communications for specific marketing projects with strong collaboration with the respective marketing functions.
  • Manage and build an advertising plan in line with the global strategy that addresses country specific issues and opportunities with the right messages.
  • Generate innovative digital (media) initiatives to expand reach and engage the target consumer, particularly through social media.
  • Annually review media planning and buying with the agency and international.
  • Support new product launches together with sales, finance and other marketing functions
  • Collect all learnings to share locally and with International HQ.

Experience Required

  • A creative mind with a track record of creating new ideas, putting them into practice and assessing results.
  • Ideally have experience in the FMCG sector.
  • A strategic thinker who takes initiative and ownership, working with cross functional teams.
  • Ability to generate consumer insights and translate them into successful brand initiatives.
  • Ability to focus and follow through on priorities and deliver quality results.
  • High standard of integrity with a passion for the brand
