AMICUS RECRUITMENT has one of the best marketing opportunities in the FMCG sector and due to continued success and a change in structure, they are now looking for a Brand Manager to join the team – Why is this such a great opportunity ? Two reasons really – it is this specific Brand and the Hiring Manager- this particular brand HAS TAKEN THE FMCG MARKET BY STORM -and probably one of the best brands to hit the Foods market in the last number of years- also it’s an Irish brand and it’s success is now seen both here and internationally within the Healthy Foods Category.

**I have been 13 years in Recruitment and at Brand Manager level – this is one of the best opportunities to arise in the last 12 months !! to be considered for this position; you must have at least 2-3 years brand management experience coming from the FMCG sector.**

The Role ; the Hiring Manager and what is required- in her words- not mine !

This is a fantastic opportunity but a demanding and challenging role. In the Marketing Manager’s words ” Denis it’s been an incredible journey for the last couple of years but in this role; strong project management skills are essential. You could be working on 3-4 key projects and any one time so you must be able to plan and think ahead. You will be given a sizeable budget and get work on some fabulous NPD and great events. You must be able to manage externally; work with agencies on briefs; campaigns and then internally with Sales Reps; NAM’s and the Global team- it’s far from easy; but if you can plan; take pressure in your stride ; you will gain invaluable exposure and with further NPD planned; it’s a great time to join the team !- I have loved it !! “

The Hiring Manager and her style and the Brand

The Hiring Manager who I met with is fantastic ! she is calm; very personable; has a positive attitude and has been promoted a number of times and is highly thought of by the Business. She does not want to handhold someone ! and will give you the freedom to succeed and will be there to support you. As well as the above; you will work on some fantastic events and activations. There will be a focus on trade marketing as well as consumer marketing and as mentioned above ” having an entrepreneurial yet collaborative approach whilst wearing the commercial hat is the key to success.”

Succes will be measured by sales but also by Key projects that will be agreed with the Hiring Manager but crucially; the targets are fair. ( Due to the success of the team and the Hiring Manager- full bonus has been paid out in the last couple of years)

** For this role ; you must have at least 3–4 years FMCG brand marketing experience to be considered for this position; **

Key Responsibilties:

· Develop & execute world class brand plans; work closely with Marketing Manager, commercial teams to plan, coordinate & evaluate brand activation & visibility activity.

  • Management of brand marketing budgets & delivery of all marketing activity within agreed budget and achieve volume targets.
  • Management of relevant agencies ie creative, research, experiential, PR
  • Manage the full range, rationalisation and launch of any new innovations and SKUs to the Irish market.
  • Be the brand guardian for the brand, making sure all brand designs, principles, tone of voice and activations are a true brand fit and targeting the right audiences.

· Project management of brand campaigns from concept, design to executional excellence across all consumer touchpoints

· Support the Marketing Manager with roll out of brand strategy, making sure everything ladders back up to overarching brand strategies.

· Influence and educate the sales team on an ongoing basis and develop compelling sales decks with insights & USP’s.

  • Be the ‘go to’ person in the business, who manages & tracks all aspects of the brand’s performance. (distribution, rate-of-sale, sales Vs budget, spend Vs budget, SKU performance & opportunities).
  • Manage relationship with Global Head office team and implement global brand strategy in a locally relevant way in the Irish market.

Key Deliverables:

  • Design and execution of annual brand plans (social, experiential, media, influencer marketing, trade marketing, etc.).
  • Compile monthly sales, distribution & marketing reports.

Experience and Skills required

  • 3-4 years Consumer or Trade Marketing experience preferably within the FMCG sector
  • Communication and presentation skills and a Creative, strategic Thinker
  • Organised and keen to work in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Commercially astute and strong on Creative writing & agency management
