My Client is an established FMCG organisation with a number of iconic brands and due to a promotion; are looking to recruit an ambitious Brand Manager to join the team. This is a GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY for a marketing professional who has 3-4 years brand management experience and has exposure to working in the FMCG sector. With regards to the brands; they have over 50% market share ; are well established in the Irish and European markets and in this role, you will have complete ownership of the brands- getting buy in both externally with Retailers and internally with stakeholders is key to success.

  • Develop & implement Ireland brand strategy that fits with overall brand strategy whilst accommodating local market differences
  • Develop a digital marketing strategy and plan for the brands.
  • Develop a communications plan to drive the growth of the brands in Ireland.
  • Develop & implement clear in-store brand activation strategies for Ireland that create sustainable growth & deliver financial, market & brand health KPIs
  • Strong commercial understanding to drive the delivery of key financial targets and brand KPIs in Ireland
  • Developing a Communications stream suitable for the Irish market;
  • Champion and drive digital marketing through the business and lead the development of an online marketing strategy – first to market best in class plans
  • Development of rolling 12 to 18 month brand & media plan for Ireland
  • Tailoring of local market activity using UK market materials/assets (or Irish specific)
  • Setting and managing marketing budget within geography and within agreed parameters with the Irish team
  • Work across all functions, with customers and use external suppliers
  • Develop and implement key retailer specific activity
  • Work with manufacturing, finance and logistics team through the development of tactical product and packaging changes that fit within the brand blueprints for product and packaging
  • Monitoring and measurement of brand activity through use of internal and external data


  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years’ experience in brand management and ideally experience in digital marketing within a FMCG environment
  • Graduate level marketing qualification
  • Commercial and strategic in approach.
  • Strong influencing skills both with Retailers and key stakeholders within the Business. Essentially , strong on building relationships and obtaining results.
