Sounds good so far- but it is THIS BRAND- this particular brand that makes this opportunity; a must for consideration. To be considered you must have at least 2-4 years FMCG experience ; great if it’s in the beer category ! be commercial; take pressure in your stride and a drive to succeed.

This particular brand is thriving- whilst other beers around are in decline- this one is renowned for being super premium and is loved in both the on and off trade.

What about the team? The Director/ line manager- quite simply; you can’t get any better !- The Line Manager is supportive; knows the business and sector inside out; will support you when required. The current Brand Manager was a success in the role and is taking time out and he loved the role stating ” it is demanding; but it is a great role ! Number 1 brand- and in the role you will work on some great activations; events and crucially ; be given a lot of autonomy and freedom to implement your own ideas and put your own stamp on the role.”

** I have been 13 years in Recruitment and at Brand Manager level – this is one of the best out there !!! it would however be advantageous if you have beer experience ; if not; must be coming from drinks. **

Key Duties:

· Develop and execute world class consumer and trade marketing plans; work closely with commercial teams to plan, coordinate & evaluate brand activation & visibility activity for the brands.

· Management of brand marketing budgets & delivery of all marketing activity within agreed budget.

· Management of relevant third-party agencies & brand principles.

· Influence and educate the sales team on an ongoing basis and develop compelling sales decks with insights & USP’s.

· Drive the strategic brand planning process to develop 1-year and 3-year plans with clear strategic direction and tactical steps.

· Be the ‘go to’ person in the business, who manages & tracks all aspects of the brand’s performance.

(distribution, rate-of-sale, sales v’s budget, spend v’s budget, SKU performance & opportunities)

Key Deliverables:

· Annual Consumer and Trade Marketing Business plan to align with commercial goals.

· 12 month promotional and visibility plans for on-trade & off-trade in ROI & NI.

· Generate and track monthly and quarterly objectives (from brand plans) for on & off trade commercial teams to ensure delivery of volume and distribution targets.

· Produce insightful quarterly & annual reviews as agreed with brand owners.

· People and performance management of a Brand Ambassador. Setting monthly and annual targets while tracking performance and giving feedback.

· Effectively manage research, creative, event management and media agencies through on-boarding, clear briefings, feedback, reviews and updates. Track agency performances and brand results for all projects and brand campaigns.

· Manage the portfolio range, rationalisation and launch of any new innovations and SKUs to the ROI and NI market.

· Be the brand guardian for the portfolio brands, making sure all brand designs, principles, tone of voice and activations are a true brand fit and targeting the right audiences.

Key Requirements:

· 2-4 years brand management experience in the FMCG sector

· Strong commercial acumen; ability to prioritise and gey buy in from others is key.

· Experience managing media buying process

· ATL process experience from agency briefing to sign off
