AMICUS RECRUITMENT has one of the best marketing opportunities in the FMCG sector – Why? It is the company! as simple as that really! the brands; their success within the market and their success- quite simply; it is unrivalled and due to their continued success, they are looking to recruit a Brand Manager for some of their leading Alcohol Drinks brands. ( these brands are FANTASTIC – on- trend and exceeding expectations- one in particular is doing extremely well , whilst the other is loved by Bartenders ! !)

This role will be a challenge !- you will be expected to be strong on planning; commercial be assertive- partner with the sales teams and be comfortable presenting to Senior Management- both internally and with clients. You will work closely with the agencies (both digital and media) and work with the local and global teams and strong on budget management. In turn you will gain invaluable exposure to the Business and will work on some of the BEST Brands in the alcohol sector !- Easy to say but it’s the truth !

Another reason why this is a GOLDEN opportunity is the Marketing Director and Business Unit Controller. ( both know the drinks trade inside out and the Marketing Director will give you the autonomy to succeed but is there for support and to advise you.) Key Responsibilities

· Develop & execute world class brand plans; work closely with commercial teams to plan, coordinate & evaluate brand activation & visibility activity.

  • Management of brand marketing budgets & delivery of all marketing activity within agreed budget and achieve volume targets.

· Management of relevant agencies (design, experiential, digital, PR & media).

· Creation of best in class brand experiences and consumer activations.

· Project management of brand campaigns from concept, design to executional excellence across all consumer touchpoints

· Support the Trade Marketing Manager with roll out of On and Off trade brand strategy, making sure everything ladders back up to brand campaigns and brand visions.

· People Manage the Trade Marketing Manager and the successful roll out of the local brand ambassador programme.

· Influence and educate the sales team on an ongoing basis and develop compelling sales decks with insights & USP’s.

  • Be the ‘go to’ person in the business, who manages & tracks all aspects of the brand’s performance. (distribution, rate-of-sale, sales Vs budget, spend Vs budget, SKU performance & opportunities).
  • Manage relationship with the global team and implement global brand strategy in a locally relevant way in the Irish market.

Experience Required:

  • A passion for brand building.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and min of 3-4 years Brand management experience.
  • Creative, strategic thinking and problem-solving.
  • organised and keen to work in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Ability to foster close working relationships.
  • Commercially astute.
