My Cient is one of leading FMCG companies in it’s sector and if you are driven; ambitious FMCG Marketing Executive/ Assistant Brand Manager- this is a must for consideration !!!- why you may ask? In this role , you will get to work with and report to a personable and fair Marketing Manager and work with one of the best Country Managers in the FMCG Marketplace!- ( both the Marketing Manager and Country Manager come from a big blue background- you will get to work with a solid team who are friendly; passionate about their roles and they work together as a team.

The reason why this role is testament to their credibility and how they operate- I placed the current Assistant Brand Manager and due to her success; she has received a promotion to another position in an international office ! and they are now looking to backfill the Assistant Brand Manager position. The role is appealing as it is varied and diverse and you must be digitally savvy; be able to work with stakeholders both in Ireland UK and Europe ; be consumer focused and be innovative and imaginative.

The Role

The purpose of this role is twofold 1. To support the Senior Brand Manager on the delivery of the marketing, financial and communication objectives for the Group’s portfolio of brands AND 2. Specifically take ownership on one of the portfolios with a real focus on digital activity and activations with Retailers; working with the internal teams ( home and abroad) and external agencies to achieve effective results.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Work with the Senior Brand Manager to coordinate ATL and BTL communication for the brands in Ireland within corporate guidelines.
  • Assist in the preparation of the marketing investment plan for the brand portfolio with specific responsibility for your own portfolio.
  • Responsible for developing the Annual Brand Planning and Budget process.
  • Responsible for the effective and efficient management of the marketing budgets, ensuring all PO’s are raised and goods receipted in a timely manner on SAP and costs are tracked on the budget tracker.
  • Responsible for the development and management of our social media strategy within corporate guidelines on social media platforms such as facebook, twitter, pinterest etc and the management of the company website
  • Working closely with them on portfolio management and NPD to ensure issues and opportunities are heard and acted on in a timely manner.
  • Lead the monthly Action meeting, co-coordinating the agenda, chairing the meeting and ensuring the minutes are captured and sent out in a timely manner.
  • Develop and manage a strong working relationship with advertising, media, and BTL agencies.
  • Work closely with National Account Management, Field Sales and Category Management teams to ensure effective execution of activities in-store.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • 1-3 years Marketing experience either as a Commercial Graduate; Marketing Executive or Assistant Brand within the FMCG sector.
  • Willingness to learn; positive attitude and ability to get buy in/ influence others
  • Digital experience would be advantageous along with being extremely creative
  • Ethical approach; collaborative in approach and ability to take ownership.
